Webcast FAQ

What if I can't make the live webcasts?
Our webcast courses are recorded. They can be viewed at any time during the semester.

Where can I find information and communications during the semester?
Each course on this site has its own page, and students will be granted access to a course's page upon payment. The course pages are used to communicate with students and post materials and announcements.

How can I contact the instructor during the semester?
During the live webcasts, you can use the chat function or "raise your hand" to speak if you have a microphone. You can also communicate with the instructor and other students by using the discussion forum on the course page.

How does the webcast work?
You will receive detailed instructions prior to the start of the course via the email you have provided during registration. All of our webcast courses use two websites:

About our websites

1. The main course website (this site). Each course on this site has its own page, and students will be granted access to a course's page upon payment. The course pages are used to communicate with students and post materials and announcements. Students may also communicate with the instructor and other students by using the discussion forum on their course's page.

2. Web Conferencing Application. This is where the actual webcast takes place. Once inside the "classroom," you will be able to hear the instructor speak and see his desktop. You can communicate with the instructor and other students in the chat box during the class, or, if you have a microphone, you can speak aloud after requesting microphone rights from the instructor. All classes will be recorded, and the recordings will be made available to students soon after each class, so you may review them whenever you like.
